·       Designed to be the most detailed visual plan for a video production
·       Annotations covers all technical aspects
Is the most important working document on a video set- will be used to structure filming

Script/Screenplay
Produced by a scriptwriter, breaking down the overall ide and story onto a film able, scene by scene structure
·       Used by production team to plan shots as it contains camera language
·       Also used by actors to develop performance, as it includes their dialogue and details on expression
Slug lines include:
Whether the scene is interior exterior

The location the scene is shot in

The time of the scene when it takes place
(Day, night, early evening, dusk, morning, dawn, moments later, continuous)


Shooting Script
Development on script is dependent on completion

·       used in video production 
·      accompanies storyboards in allowing the production team to structure heir filming
