The kick starter project is for raising money for aterny fees, professional sound mixing, professional colour correction, travel and lodging expenses, film festival submission fees.
How long did they spend developing the concept?
It took 3 weeks to conceptualise the campaign.

What figure did they decide on?
The figure they decided on was 15,000. This is because they though it was a sensible amount to raise on kick-starter.
How did they promote the project?
They promoted it on social media such as face book pages personal and movie page, also on their twitter accounts. He private messaged all of his friends and family, emailed old teachers, he also posted it on crowd fundings face books page and created different Facebook pages dedicated to the crowdfunding. It then got reposted 3/4 times by friends and family.

The pyramid market structure(90:9:1) states that 90% of the people you contact to promote your ideas are 'lurkers'. They will see what your promoting and watch what you are doing but not do anything about it. 9% will actually engage they will see it and retweet or share it but they won't really contribute. 1% who will engage by sharing and donating to help the project out.

Enemy of man recieved $255,564 which means they passed their goal by $5,564 meaning they had more money to help with the film production

Who is the director and why are they important?
Vincent Regan was the director. This is important as people then know who the money is going to and if they are going to use it sensibly on the project. Due to the fact he was an actor it shows he knows what he is doing as he's been in this field of expertise before so people will trust him with the money.
How else is this project being funded?
This project is also being funded by merchandise such as t-shirts and posters to help with the production costs. So people can then buy their favourite programmes merchandise while helping to fund it so its a win win situation.

Why do you think this was successful in gaining funding?
Because it will make it well know and give people a new programme to watch if they like period drams so it will make it well known.

Crowdfunding is when you have a group of people who help you raise money for what you are making. one advantage is that it gets the money you need quickly and effectively however a disadvantage is if you don't set a realistic budget not many people will give you enough money
